Course Overview: This active shooter training will be provided by PacBlu LLC and is broken down into a two phase approach. Phase one is designed for civilian response, and will provide unique, hands-on instruction derived from training provided to law enforcement that is adapted for the civilian world and will be tailored to hospital preparedness needs. Phase two provides instruction on the Incident Command System (ICS) and attendees will learn to coordinate with first responders during an incident. It will provide discussion on how an agencies response will integrate with first responders during an incident using state and federal guidelines to provide a universally recognized response. Training will incorporate lecture and hands-on based training with mock scenarios.

Discuss Improvise tactics to survive an incident
Discuss Integration with Fire Responders at an on scene command post or EOC
Discuss Coordination and Control of an incident
Discuss on-scene assignments, staging areas, equipment and training needed
Hospital Administrators, Department Managers, Emergency Program Managers, Medical Directors, Emergency Preparedness Committee Members, Safety Coordinators, Risk Managers,, First Responders, Field Personnel for ALS/BLS, Health Care Personnel, and any staff that could serve in a Department Operation Center (DOC), Emergency Operation Center (EOC) or Hospital Command Center (HCC).
